Electronic Waste Recycling

At the free E-waste recycling event in June 2009, over 210 tonnes of e-waste was collected from the Perth metropolitan area.

At the event in June 2010, even more E-waste was collected. More than 220 tonnes was recycled - that's 14 shipping containers!

Product Stewardship for TV's and Computers

A national Product Stewardship Scheme for TV's and Computers is currently being developed.  MWAC has made several Submissions on the Scheme, including a Submission on the Consultation Paper on Product Stewardship for TV's and Computers (available here).
