NPC Funding
The companies which are part of the National Packaging Covenant will provide up $15 million with matching funds from the State Governments over the next 5 years to fund projects which focus on increasing the recycling of packaging waste.
Structure
This Funding Program is overseen by several committees. The National Projects Group (NPG) oversees the allocation of funding from a national perspective and this Group reports directly to the Covenant Council. The Jurisdiction Projects Groups (JPGs) are found in each state and their role is to liaise with local stakeholders to idenfiy appropriate projects and guide those projects through the national funding framework.
JPG Representation in WA

Deadline for Expressions of Interest
Expressions of Interest for projects to be funded under the National Packaging Covenant have been called for.
Expressions of interest for Round 1 of funding close Friday 14 March 2008.
