SWIS

The Strategic Waste Initiatives Scheme (SWIS) is a scheme operated by the Waste Management Board.  It provides funding and other assistance to business and industry, local government, community groups and individuals for projects tackling priority waste issues.  In addition to grants the Scheme is aimed at encouraging strategic waste initiatives through non-funding support and assistance.   

The latest round of EOI’s has now closed.  Assessments are underway and all applicants will be advised in due course.

Please Note – an updated version of the guidelines is now available.  Older versions of the guidelines included reference to Zero Waste Plans. In this round of funding a ZWP is not required, however, in future rounds it is expected to be included.
