Therefore funding will be allocated in three six month periods (Jan – June 2009, Jul – Dec 2009, Jan – June 2010) and one three month period (Jul – Sept 2010). Funding will vary based upon a geographical location weighting, the amount of used oil collected and the number of Local Governments who apply. In order to access funding, Local Governments will need to:
- Use the WALGA appointed Preferred Supplier;
- Keep documentation relating to the amount and cost of used oil collected; and
- Estimate the source of used oil (public, commercial or Local Government)
More information on accessing the funding will be provided in January 2009 and an application form for Period 1 will be distributed in May 2009. For enquiries please contact Judy Scott on 9213 2086 or email jscott@walga.asn.au or Bienne Argent on 9213 2069 or email bargent@walga.asn.au
